BOOKKEEPING, CIS, VAT & PAYROLL

I can offer the full bookkeeping package right up to handing over to your accountant to prepare your year-end accounts - and as little or much of that as you'd like.

I can process weekly - or more often - or monthly. I can do less frequent, but I'd strongly recommend we bring the accounts up to date at least each month. If your books aren't up to date, then the accounting reports we can pull won't give you the insight it could.

I can do all elements of data entry, from sales and purchase ledgers to cash receipts. I'm well experienced in bank reconciliations, including credit cards and income streams such as Paypal, Stripe and Shopify.

I can offer CIS returns and reconciliations, along with basic payroll services - if your payroll requirements are more complex, I can put you in touch with someone that can assist with the payroll for you.

I can even offer credit control if it helps you - whether that entails sending statements or phoning around your debtors to chase what you're owed, on an adhoc or regular basis.

I can prepare and submit your VAT returns (with your approval for each return prior to submission). I have experience with the standard, cash and flat rate scheme, along with some more specialist schemes, such as the secondhand margin scheme.

The wonderful thing about these services is that they are tailored to you, your business and your requirements - and if they change, then we can offer more or less as you need.

TRAINING

I specialise in Xero software, and I'm used to helping people navigate it and get the best out of it - whether that's someone experienced, or someone who has never seen it before. I customise the training entirely to your business and work with you to see how you can best use the software - or to work out where it's going wrong if you're struggling with it. I can offer one or two hour sessions, with ongoing support for as long as needed.

CONVERSIONS

I have experience in doing conversions via both MoveMyBooks (MMB) and manually to set up clients in Xero from various software packages. If you want someone to help you get Xero set up and customised ready to use, I can help.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS

I have experience in offering management accounts - including accrued and deferred income, accruals and prepayments, depreciation and analysis.

BUDGETS IN XERO

I can help to set up a budget in Xero, and configure the variance analysis reporting to see where you're meeting - or missing - your budgets. We can also do this outside of Xero in Microsoft Excel.

CONSULTING AND TROUBLESHOOTING

Have you been working on your books yourself, but you aren't really sure what you've done - or did you outsource them to someone who has left them in a real mess? Don't worry - it doesn't matter how messy they are, I can help. It may be easier to start a new subscription and draw the data where we can from the old Xero, or we may be able to do bulk corrections and fix the issues in your current Xero, particularly if you want it for a longer history, and get it running how it should. Once we have it where it needs to be, you then decide if you're happy to maintain it, or if you want some help - and with the above services, I can cover as little or much as you'd like.
